Greetings Druid folk!
The annual GMDO Beltane Celebration is coming up on Saturday, May 2nd at Dreamland Sanctuary!
See the following from Fearn and Auntie Bear!
There are a bunch of additional tasks and roles we need covered to make this happen.
Here is an additional list: 

  • Sun and Moon Cake maker

  • Gather, set up and hold down the Adorning Station (flower crowns, temporary tattoos, face paint, clay)

  • Gather, set up Cuddle Tent

  • Gather, set up Aroma and massage station,

  • Gather, set up Libation and sweet treats station

  • Prepare Maypole and bring down to Sycamore

  • Dig hole and adorn the earth

  • Chant leaders – for procession and maypole dance

  • Drummers and other instruments

  • Narrators for ceremony- several! words provided which can be adapted

  • Wreath maker for pole?

  • Fire circle facilitator

  • Welcomer at the gate- orient to what, where, when…

  • SET UP- potluck in yurt, trash, compost…stock bathrooms, hand washing station, put up parking signs, prayer flags, etc.

  • CLEAN UP- dish washing station in yurt, potluck clean up, fold up flags, signs down

Anyone with a ceremony role is asked to come to the pre-ceremony moot at my house at 3pm.

Community Beltaine!

Saturday, May 2

Celebrate the return of life to the land, to our bodies, and to our collective uprising in this annual cross quarter festival of fertile joy and spring revelry.

  • 2 PM – Adorn and Commune -make a flower crown, walk to the faery well, visit with the land and beings.
  • 4 PM – Ceremony begins! Please be here by then.
  • 6 PM- Potluck feast – in the yurt
  • Fire Circle and more yumminess to follow…

     

    Please bring: festive attire in layers for the season, a feast dish to share with ingredient card, your own place setting, an offering for the faeries, a full water bottle, $ donation to support Dreamland, drum or other instrument, something to sit on outside. Elizabeth and Audrey will be building the flower crowns, so they ask folks to bring flowers!

First Fulll Moon Ecstatic Dance is Friday May 1! 

Folks are welcome to camp out for one or both nights of this Full moon fertile festive weekend.
